A suspect remains at large after a man was shot to death in Pacoima.

On Aug. 5, Los Angeles police responded to a shooting near the 11900 block of Foothill Boulevard shortly before 11 a.m.

An investigation revealed the male victim was standing outside of a recreational vehicle when a suspect pulled up in a car, walked towards him and shot him. The gunman stepped back into the waiting getaway car and fled the scene.

Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. The suspect was only described as a male.
