A suspect remains on the run after a man was stabbed to death in Ventura County.
The suspect was identified as Miguel Angel Reyes Cano, 41, of Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
On July 10, deputies responded to the 2900 block of Crescent Way in Thousand Oaks shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Deputies arriving at the home found the victim, identified only as a 36-year-old Simi Valley man, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was transported to Los Robles Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide investigators alleged Cano had stabbed the victim before he fled the scene. Authorities have released photos of the suspect along with a distinct tattoo on his forearm.
His vehicle is described as a 2002 blue-colored Dodge truck with a California license plate of 7K43579.
“The parties involved were known to one another, the incident appears to be isolated, and Cano is currently outstanding,” Ventura County deputies said.
Anyone who may know his whereabouts or has information on the case is asked to call Detective Katie Torres at 805-384-4740
