“THE WILDEST CAR SHOW ON EARTH” : Galpin Motors hosts the San Fernando Valley’s largest car show on Sunday, October 20. With the theme “Wildest Car Show on Earth,” the 10th annual Galpin Car Show, supported by HUB , celebrating more than 130 years of automotive history with over 1,000 vehicles across nine different show locations along Roscoe Blvd.
This popular event is Galpin’s way of thanking the community with a day of free, family-friendly fun.
The event features a variety of vehicles, including modern supercars and never-before-displayed classic hot rods. Here are just a few examples of some of the amazing cars that will be in attendance:
- The “Roach Coach” Hot Rod, which will be shown for the first time in over 40 years on the West Coast.
- Hypercars including Paganis, Bugattis, Koenigseggs and cars from many other hypercar and exotic car brands.
- Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsche and other exotic car clubs
- Lowriders, including an expanded Lowrider hop competition
- A historic gathering of iconic 1960s and ‘70s show cars, including machines created by “Big Daddy” Ed Roth
- Cars from George Barris collection, including the Batmobile, the Munster Mobile, the Bathtub Buggy and more
- JDM including Bōsōzoku vans, which will be part of a Japanese car culture showcase
- A trio of bb Auto Porsches, including the award-winning 1986 Porsche bb Auto Targa Hybrid
- A collection of vehicles from the acclaimed Petersen Automotive Museum
- Various vintage Ford Mustangs to celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary
- Off-Road trucks
- VW buses and bugs
- Hilariously tiny microcars
- And much more!
The Galpin Car Show is FREE and will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, October 20th at all of the Galpin dealerships along Roscoe Boulevard.
The event also includes a kids’ zone with snacks, paint-the-truck, food trucks and live entertainment. Free parking will be available in five nearby lots and complimentary shuttles will provide easy access to the event.
