Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up to celebrate the “most wonderful time of the year” with fan-favorite festivities and new additions.

For the first time, guests can celebrate the holiday season in the Mushroom Kingdom at Super Nintendo World. Themed décor, holiday merchandise and seasonal treats will be available in the themed land.

The mean, ole Mr. Grinch will return to Universal Plaza for the annual “Grinchmas Who—billion” event. Visitors can take photos with the Grinch and his dog, Max, and meet other Who-ville residents like Cindy Lou Who.

During the event, guests can also join Cindy Lou Who for a daily story time, learn about “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” or send a letter through the Who-ville post office.

The 65-foot-tall Grinchmas tree will be lit nightly during the tree-lighting ceremony, accompanied by snowfall.

The village of Hogsmeade will also be transformed into a shimmering winter wonderland for the holidays. Park guests can watch a special holiday acapella performance from the Hogwarts Frog Choir, grab a cup of Hot Butterbeer or watch Hogwarts Castle light up during “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” nightly show.

The show includes music from the Harry Potter movie franchise.

CityWalk will be decorated with the best holiday décor. On select nights, guests will enjoy live entertainment.

Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood will run daily from Nov. 29 to Jan. 6. Admission to CityWalk is free.
