Universal’s Horror Unleashed, the first-ever year-round horror experience created by the media company, officially opened on Thursday just in time for haunt season.
The experience, located at Area 15 in Las Vegas, features four themed haunted house areas “featuring bloodcurdling original stories” called “Universal Monsters,” “Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer,” “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” and “Scarecrow: The Reaping.”
Guests can also explore four terrifying zones.
- In Kill Vault, rusty knives and machetes line the walls as a strange surgeon and psychotic slashers lurk in the shadows.
- Prop Graveyard blurs the line between inanimate and alive with unsettling dolls, dismembered mannequins and haunted film props that seem to move on their own.
- Dead Storage pays tribute to Universal’s earliest horror productions, where vampires, werewolves and other creatures emerge from the dark without warning.
- In Jack’s Alley, a twisted carnival comes alive with Jack the Clown’s maniacs, jugglers and fortune tellers performing for their lives during the “Jack & Chance: Stay or Slay” show.
The experience also offers themed dining, cocktails and merchandise.
Tickets to the experience can be found here.
