A new documentary is making the case that kindness can truly change lives.
Steven Sawalich, the director of “Case for Kindness,” joined our set to talk about his film, which features a number of famous faces– including Lady Gaga, Ben Affleck and the Dalai Lama– along with everyday people proving that small acts of compassion can have a big impact.
The film explores how kindness benefits both mental and physical health– from lowering stress to building stronger communities. It also highlights real-world stories, including an Anaheim school program that inspired one million acts of kindness and musician Daryl Davis, who helped nearly 200 members leave the Ku Klux Klan simply by sitting down and having real conversations.
“Case for Kindness” is available now on Amazon Prime.
