In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we took a closer look at what’s changed– and what hasn’t– when it comes to early detection. Board-certified nurse practitioner Dr. James Q. Simmons joined us to break down the new mammogram guidelines, how dense breast tissue affects screenings and why younger women are being diagnosed more often. He also reminded us that breast cancer isn’t just a women’s issue– men need to know the warning signs, too.
